DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Wednesday.

The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 17 points to stand at 4,356 at 11:10 am.

Trade deals stood at 7403with transaction at Tk 253 million.

Of the issues traded, 95 advanced, 39 declined and 43 remained unchanged.

BEXIMCO topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 40 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,283 by gaining over 23 points at 11:10am.

Out of the issues traded, 43 gained, 29 declined and 16 remained unchanged.
