DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing downward trend in share-price indices on Thursday.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) broad index rose over 14 points to stand at 4,326 at 12:10 pm.

Trade deals stood at 24,977 with transaction at Tk 999 million. Of the issues traded, 114 advanced, 93 declined and 56 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 150 million having changed hands during the time.

Besides, Chittagong stocks’ Selective Categories Index climbed up to 8,256 by gaining over 15 points at 12:13 pm.

Out of the issues traded, 48 gained, 61 declined and 27 remained unchanged.
