DHAKA:  Investors witnessed minor fall in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Thursday.

The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over 12 points only to stand at 4,328 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 64,940 with volume of transactions at Tk 2,627 million.

Of the issues traded, 213 advanced, 115 declined and 45 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 309 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were GP, ACI, BSRMSTEEL, SQURPHARMA, BEXIMCO, UNITEDAIR, BSCCL, LANKABAFIN and BATBC.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8,264 by dropping over seven points.

 Out of the issues traded, 82 gained, 81 declined and 36 remained unchanged.
