DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Sunday.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange Broad Index (DSEX) shed over 19 points to stand at 4,309 at 12:20pm.

Trade deals stood at 20,729 with volume of transactions at Tk 782 million.

Of the issues traded, 97 advanced, 114 declined and 47 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 203 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8,244 by dropping over 19 points at about 12:21pm.

Out of the issues traded, 36 gained, 68 declined and 12 remained unchanged.
