DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Tuesday.
The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 28 points to stand at 4,396 at 11:20 am.
Trade deals stood at 12559 with transaction at Tk 464 million.
Of the issues traded, 133 advanced, 42 declined and 41 remained unchanged.
BEXIMCO topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 57 million having changed hands during the time.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,358 by gaining over 12 points at 11:23am.
Out of the issues traded, 40 gained, 39 declined and 19 remained unchanged.
