DHAKA: The businessmen who are involved with export related business can take up to Tk 120 crores as loan from Export Development Fund (EDF) instead of Tk 96 crore.
The central bank of the country, Bangladesh Bank (BB), issued an order in this regard on Tuesday.
In the order BB said a single exporter or institution can loan $ 15 million instead of $ 12 million.
The member organizations of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) will get the advantage, it added.
