DHAKA: Country's stock market marked gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Wednesday.

The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 10 points to stand at 4,403 at the close on the fourth trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 86,084 with transaction at Tk 3,377 million. Of the issues traded, 200 advanced, 43 declined and 24 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 254 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were GP, SQURPHARMA, BSCCL, BEXIMCO, BSC, ACI, SUMITPOWER, BSRMSTEEL, and BXPHARMA.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,401 by gaining over 20 points.

Out of the issues traded, 132 gained, 52 declined and 24 remained unchanged.
