DHAKA: State-run Sonali Bank authority has filed another money loan case against much-talked Hall-Mark Group Managing Director Tanvir Mahmud and Chairman Jesmin Islam. 

Sonali Bank executive officer Abdus Salam lodged the case with money loan court at 10:00am on Monday. 

Lawyer of the state-owned bank Jahangir Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.

This is the 15th case against Hall-Mark by the Sonali Bank. 

Sonali Bank filed the case to get back around Tk 13.62 crore with interest from Baby Flatbed, a sister concern of Hall-Mark group.     

Hall-Mark took away Tk 2,686 crore from Sonali Bank's Ruposhi Bangla branch on forged documents between 2010 and 2012. The scam shook the entire country in May 2012 when it came to the surface.
