DHAKA: Investors witnessed slight fall in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Wednesday.

The DSE broad index shed over five points to stand at 7371 at the close on the fourth trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 47269 with transaction at Tk 1574 million.
   
 Of the issues traded, 123 advanced, 116 declined and 53 remained unchanged.

GP topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 90 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were LAFSURCEML, BEXIMCO, FARCHEM, APOLOISPAT, OLYMPIC, SQURPHARMA, BSC, HEIDELBCEM and ENVOYTEX.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8322 by dropping over 16 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 55 gained, 107 declined and 39 remained unchanged.
