DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Thursday.

The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over seven points to stand at 4,363 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 48,316 with transaction at Tk 1772 million. Of the issues traded, 99 advanced, 147 declined and 51 remained unchanged.

OLYMPIC topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 139 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were GP, BEXIMCO, HEIDELBCEM, FARCHEM, LAFSURCEML, ENVOYTEX, SQURPHARMA, APOLOISPAT  and BRACBANK.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8327 by gaining over four points.

Out of the issues traded, 60 gained, 98 declined and 33 remained unchanged.
