DSE trading remain closed for 7-day

DHAKA: The trading and official activities of Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd will remain closed for seven days from July 27 for holidays of "Eid-ul-Fitr".

The Eid vacation will start from July 27 and continue till July 31. But August 1 and 2 are public holidays which mean the total vacation will be seven days.

DSE Deputy General Manager (Public Relations & Publications) M Shafiqur Rahman in a press release disclosed the matter on Thursday.

The decision has taken in the 775th board meeting of directorial board of DSE, the press release added.

Trading and official activities of DSE will revert to its previous time schedule from August 03, 2014 (after Eid-ul-Fitr holidays) which is as follows: Trading hours: 10:30am to 2:30pm and office hours: 9:30am to 5:30pm.
