DHAKA: The government is going to impose tax on mobile towers set up at different buildings in the capital various spots in the capital from fiscal year 2014-15.   

Dhaka City Corporation (DCC South) placed a proposal in this regard at its fiscal year 2014-15 budget session at its office on Thursday noon.  

In the budget session, DCC (South) commissioner M Ibrahim Hossain Khan said from now every mobile operator will have to give tax while they will set up new tower at any Bhaban in the city.  

A proposal is about the matter under considering for approval in the ministry, he added.     

Ibrahim said if the decision has been implemented DCC will income huge amount of tax. 

So, the matter was included in the budget with more importantly.
