DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Tuesday.

The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 29 points to stand at 4,424 at the close on the 3rd trading day of the week. 

Trade deals stood at 80,260 with transaction at Tk 3,756 million.

Of the issues traded, 192 advanced, 70 declined and 35 remained unchanged.

BEXIMCO topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 490 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were GP, PADMAOIL, LAFSURCEML, SPCL, OLYMPIC, SQURPHARMA, GENNEXT, GOLDENSON and FARCHEM.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,385 by 20 points. 

Out of the issues traded, 117 gained, 61 declined and 31 remained unchanged.
