DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Wednesday.

The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over zero point to stand at 4,527 at the close on the fourth trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 101182 with transaction at Tk 4,932 million. Of the issues traded, 120 advanced, 129 declined and 50 remained unchanged.

GENNEXT topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 232 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were GP, SQURPHARMA, ACTIVEFINE, HWAWELLTEX, APOLOISPAT, BEXIMCO, ACI, LAFSURCEML and SPPCL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 7,934 by dropping over two points.

Out of the issues traded, 72 gained, 104 declined and 38 remained unchanged.
