DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Thursday.

The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over six points to stand at 4,547 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 1,27,711 with transaction at Tk 6,321 million. Of the issues traded, 108 advanced, 162 declined and 25 remained unchanged.

BEXIMCO topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 483 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were MJLBD, BSRMSTEEL, KPPL, GP, SQURPHARMA, ACI, LAFSURCEML, BSC and BSCCL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8574 by gaining over 21 points.

Out of the issues traded, 70 gained, 131 declined and 24 remained unchanged.
