VK Singh due in Dhaka Sunday

DHAKA: General Vijay Kumar Singh (retired), Minister of State of External Affairs and Minister of state (independent charge) for North East Region of India, will visit to Dhaka on Sunday (August 24) to join in a business conclave.

India Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Kolkata and India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) with the help of Indian High Commission have organized the conclave.

Senior policymakers and business delegates also will participate in the conference with a view to preparing more grounds of bilateral trade and help and investment.

VK Singh is coming as a follow-up of Minister of External Affairs of India Sushma Swaraj’s visit to Bangladesh in the last June.

Chief Minister of Meghalaya Dr Mukul M Sangma and Trade and Commerce Minister of Tripura Shri Tapan Chakraborty also are expected to join in the conclave.
