DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Sunday.

The braod index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over six points to stand at 4,540 at the close on the first trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 13,7957 with transaction at Tk 7,381 million. Of the issues traded, 93 advanced, 170 declined and 35 remained unchanged.

BEXIMCO topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 658 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were MJLBD, BSRMSTEEL, KPPL, ACI, BSC, GP, LAFSURCEML, CENTRALPHL and TITASGAS.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 6578 by gaining over 19 points.

Out of the issues traded, 83 gained, 120 declined and 19 remained unchanged.
