DHAKA: Country's stock market marked fall in its price indices on Thursday.

The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over 21 points only to stand at 4,577 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 1,64,445 with volume of transactions at Tk 6322 million.

Of the issues traded, 110 advanced, 150 declined and 40 remained unchanged.

BEXIMCO topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 486 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were FEKDIL, GOLDENSON, BXPHARMA, BDBUILDING, MJLBD, LAFSURCEML, SQURPHARMA, BSRMSTEEL and BEDL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8658 by dropping over 22 points.

Out of the issues traded, 72 gained, 121 declined and 34 remained unchanged.
