DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina directed authorities concerned to continue the drive against sub-standard and adulterated goods.

PM said, “The anti-adulteration drives are underway and it will also be continued and its range will be extended.”

Sheikh Hasina told commerce ministry officials during her meeting with them at commerce ministry at secretariat on Thursday.

She also asked them to create mass awareness about the level of using formalin.

She further ordered authorities concerned regarding the use of formalin in foods that causes damage in human body.
