DHAKA: The prices of most of the shares at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed negative trends from the early hours of trading on Sunday, the first session of the week.

DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, went down to 4,960.11 points at 1:30pm before closing while it was 5,021.42 points after the 1st 30 minutes of trade at 11:00am.

On the other hand, the port city bourse, CSE, also saw negative trend from the early hours of trading with its Selective Category Index, CSCX, 9445.66 in the morning and 9345.96 in the afternoon.
