DHAKA: Country's stock market marked gain in its price indices on Monday.

 The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over five points only to stand at 4,554 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 129575 with volume of transactions at Tk 5014 million.

Of the issues traded, 129 advanced, 122 declined and 37 remained unchanged.

GP topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 350 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were TUNGHAI, BEXIMCO, SUMITPOWER, BXPHARMA, MJLBD, LAFSURCEML, ACI, GOLDENSON and AGNISYSL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8596 by gaining over 12 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 69 gained, 105 declined and 34 remained unchanged.
