DHAKA: Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr Atiur Rahman on Tuesday said that they have been working to transform country’s central bank into a world class one.

“We already have adopted a Strategic Action Plan from 2015 to 2019,” he also said.

Governor made the observations in a press briefing at Zahangir Conference Hall of Bangladesh Bank in city.

Dr Atiur Rahman also said, “We have taken this Action Plan so that the bank can play more effective role by adjusting all the achievements of five year.”

“We are using optimum level of technology to ensure transparency, accountability and good governance which will enhance the Action Plan,” he added.
