DHAKA: Country's stock market marked gain in its price indices on Wednesday.

 The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 30 points only to stand at 4,632 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 131834 with volume of transactions at Tk 5,506 million.

Of the issues traded, 205 advanced, 67 declined and 26 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 258 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were GP, BEXIMCO, BXPHARMA, MJLBD, SUMITPOWER, BENGALWTL, BSRMSTEEL, UNITEDAIR and SQURPHARMA.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8730 by gaining over 55 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 140 gained, 54 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
