DHAKA: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) decided to sue seven officials of Sonali Bank and Prime Bank Limited brining allegation of embezzling Tk 90 lakh.
The decision came from a regular ACC meeting in its office in the capital on Sunday.
The five officers of Prime Bank Motijheel branch are Sales Executive Mirza Kamrul Hasan, Senior Executive Officer Ferdous Akter Dipu, Senior Vice President and Manager (operation) M Mohiuddin Ahmed, Executive Officer HM Kamruzzaman Suman, Senior Assistant Vice President and Manager (operation) M Jafar Hasan.
The other two officers of Sonali Bank of Motijheel local branch are Senior Officer M Anisur Rahman Sarkar and Officer Liakat Hossain Chowdhury.
The ACC report said the seven officers withdrew Tk 90 lakh from Sonali bank Motijheel local office over the name of fake organization Masers Kamal Enterprise.
