DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Wednesday.

The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 15 points to stand at 4660 at the close on the fourth trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 131949 with transaction at Tk 6368 million. Of the issues traded, 143 advanced, 122 declined and 38 remained unchanged.

BEXIMCO topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 269 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were LAFSURCEML, MJLBD, ACI, SHURWID, SINGERBD, RENATA, GP, SQURPHARMA and BXPHARMA.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8749 by gaining over 33 points.

Out of the issues traded, 97 gained, 11 declined and 20 remained unchanged.
