DHAKA: Country's stock market marked gain in its price indices on Monday.
The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 11 points only to stand at 4,914 at the close on the second trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 220,249 with volume of transactions at Tk 9,923 million.
Of the issues traded, 141 advanced, 135 declined and 27 remained unchanged.
RSRMSTEEL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 754 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were GP, BEXIMCO, MJLBD, BXPHARMA, LAFSURCEML, BSRMSTEEL, ACTIVEFINE, ACI and ACIFORMULA.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9,299 by gaining over 81 points.
Out of the issues traded, 112 gained, 102 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
