DHAKA: ‘Computer Jogot’ has arranged a three-day e-commerce fair that will be started on September 25 at the premises of Public Library at Shahbagh in city in a bid to extend the online market in the country and, above all, to promote the younger entrepreneurs.

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources affairs Nasrul Hamid MP would inaugurate the fair that will start with the slogan ‘Business with the touch of Click’.

Leading online news portal of the country Banglanews24.com along with 15 other organizations will work as partners in the fair.

Besides, Ekhanei.com and Tathyaapa will be the platinum sponsors of the fair while ‘Team Engine’ and ‘webtv.nex’ will be the gold sponsors and ‘Aarong’ will be the silver sponsor.

Fair convener Abdul Wahed Tamal, assistant secretary to Computer Jagat M Abdul Haque and Ekhanei.com director Arild Klokkerhaug briefed journalists about various sides of the fair at Dhaka Reporters Unity on Tuesday.

Abdul Wadud Tamal said Computer Jagat has taken various initiatives to improve the ICT sector of the country.

“We have organized five fairs so far in various divisional and district towns,” he added.

He also said, “We are going to publish an e-commerce directory that would contain all the information about IT related organizations of the country.”

He also said this would be the first ever directory of its kind in the country.
