DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Wednesday.

The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 12 point to stand at 4,979 at the close on the fourth trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 177384 with transaction at Tk 9,328 million. Of the issues traded, 121 advanced, 161 declined and 20 remained unchanged.

RSRMSTEEL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 503 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were BSRMSTEEL, MJLBD, BEXIMCO, GP, BXPHARMA, RAKCERAMIC, TITASGAS, LAFSURCEML and ACI.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 9342 by dropping over 35 points.

Out of the issues traded, 73 gained, 142 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
