DHAKA: US Ambassador to Bangladesh Dan W Mozena on Sunday said Bangladesh is the best country for investment. 

There won’t be any shortage in investment here if the country can prevent corruption and establish the rule of law, he also observed.

The US diplomat made the observation while addressing a program titled ‘DCAB Talk’, organized by the Diplomatic Correspondents Association-Bangladesh (DCAB) at the National Press Club.

Mozena also said all the challenges that Bangladesh have in the field of development also have solutions. USA wants to see Bangladesh as a democratic, safe and peaceful country.

The main challenges that Bangladesh are energy shortage, problems in communications sector, corruption, political instability and these all are solvable.

There is no any sector where Bangladesh is not improving and this is why, the country is the best place for investment, further observed.

He also said people of Bangladesh are conscious about politics. He visited all the 64 districts of the country and observed that politics is in the DNA of the people of this country.
