DHAKA: Grameenphone Employees’ Union (GPEU) week-2014 started from Sunday with a three-day elaborate program aiming to carry on a positive and constructive trade union movement.

Its Central Committee president Fazlul Haque inaugurated the three-day long program at GP house in Bashundhara residential area of the capital.

The discussion topic of the first day was ‘GP Employees union-past, present and future.’

In the program, the speakers expressed hope that GPEU will play a vital role to lead positive trade union of Bangladesh.

With GP house committee president Asif Iqbal in the chair, general secretary Subrata Das Khokan, GPPC Chairman Moinul Kader, Central leader Monjurodoulla, Abul Fattah and others attended the program.
