DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Monday.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange Broad Index (DSEX) shed over 39 points to stand at 5032 at 13:00pm.

Trade deals stood at 113627 with volume of transactions at Tk 5,869 million.

Of the issues traded, 71 advanced, 185 declined and 31 remained unchanged.

JAMUNAOIL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 411 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 9453 by dropping over 72 points at about 12:59pm.

Out of the issues traded, 38 gained, 147 declined and 10 remained unchanged.
