DHAKA: Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu has sought interest-free loan from the Czech Republic Ambassador to Delhi Miloslav Stašek.

Minister also invited Miloslav Stašek to invest in Bangladesh.

Amu, also ruling Awami League leader, came up with the plea while Miloslav Stašek called on him at his secretariat office on Tuesday.

Later, the minister told journalists that they are interested to invest in Bangladesh especially in the agricultural sector.

“We have asked them to invest in the fertilizer sector and the ambassador agreed on it,” he said.
