DHAKA: Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BMCCI) is set to organize a three-day long third ‘Showcase Bangladesh’, a fair of Bangladeshi products, in Malaysia, at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from November 14.

BMMCCI President Nasir A Chowdhury made the disclosure in a press conference on Sunday.

Former President of BMCCI Syed Moazzem Hossain, vice-president ASM Mainuddin Monem and general secretary Rakib Mohammad Fakhrul were among others present at the press meet.

Malaysian Acting High Commissioner to Bangladesh Ahmed Fikri Zakian inaugurated the web page of ‘Showcase Bangladesh-2014’.

Some 60-70 factories, including banks-Insurances, readymade garments, ceramics, hides-made products, food, cottage industries factories and tourism companies will showcase their products and facilities in the fair, speakers said in the briefing.

Bangladesh High Commission to Malaysia, Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation and Malaysia South-South Association will provide all out helps in organizing the fair, they added.
