DHAKA: The High Court on Tuesday summoned three people, including the Chairman and Managing Director of Commerce Bank, for ignoring the court order.

They were asked to appear before the court and explain within November 10.

An HC single bench of Justice MR Hasan passed the order.

Advocate Omor Faruk moved for the plaintiff at the court.

Earlier the HC ordered to invite the director of the bank Jakir Hossain in the meeting of board of directors. But the order was ignored by them, said Faruk.

Later, Jakir Hossain appealed for contempt of court against the trio in this regard.
