DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Wednesday.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange Broad Index (DSEX) shed over 31 points to stand at 5202 at 11:25am.

Trade deals stood at 25006 with volume of transactions at Tk 1,403 million.

Of the issues traded, 85 advanced, 110 declined and 41 remained unchanged.
   
RSRMSTEEL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 212 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 9749 by dropping over 57 points at about 11:11am.

Out of the issues traded, 37 gained, 68 declined and 13 remained unchanged.
