DHAKA: The National Board of Revenue (NBR) again extended the deadline for submitting income tax returns for 2014-15 fiscal year by one month up to November 30.

NBR Senior Information Officer Syed A Momen confirmed the matter on Sunday.

According to the Income Tax Ordinance -1984, there was a provision that income tax return will continue throughout the month of September every year.

But, income tax submission time was extended several times.

Earlier on September 29, the NBR published a gazette notification extending time for submission of income tax return.

Following the demands of several top business organizations, NBR extended the deadlines of tax return submission.
