DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses-Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Dhaka Stock Exchange (CSE) on Sunday.

DSEX, the broad index of DSE, gain over 10.96 points only to stand at 4,635 at the close on the first trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 75,577 with volume of transactions at Tk 2680.11 million.

Of the issues traded, 143 advanced, 119 declined and 49 remained unchanged.

IFADAUTOS topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 284.78 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were ACI, MJLBD, SQURPHARMA, GP, ACIFORMULA, LAFSURCEML, SINGERBD, AAMRATECH and NBL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8743.97 by gaining over 22.86 points. 

Out of the issues traded, 102 gained, 91 declined and 37 remained unchanged.
