DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing gain in share prices indices at the opening hours on Wednesday (June 1).

DSEX, the prime index of DSE, gained over 12.71 points or 0.28 percent to stand at 4432.11 points at 11:47pm.

Trade deals stood at 29,427 with transaction at over Tk 1045.43 million. Of the issues traded, 164 advanced, 58 declined while 58 remained unchanged.

Titas Gas Transmission & Dist. Co. Ltd topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 96.68 million having changed hands till then.

Meanwhile, the CSE also followed the trend as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, acquired over 25.53 points to stand at 8312.89.

Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 86 advanced, 38 declined while 25 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 81.73 million.
