DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing loss in share price indices on Thursday (June 9), the final trading session of the week.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 8.18 points or 0.18 percent to stand at 4412.24 points at 11:57am.

Trade deals stood at 33,809 with transaction at over Tk 1139.00 million. Of the issues traded, 103 advanced, 112 declined and 70 remained unchanged till then.

The ACME Laboratories Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 245.99 million having changed hands.

Other toppers of the market were Bangladesh Building Systems Ltd., Linde Bangladesh Limited, Paramount Textile Limited and Shahjibazar Power Co. Ltd.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, lost over 19.79 points to stand at 8253.09 points till 11:56am.

Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 63 gained, 81 declined and 28 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 91.17 million.
