DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing mixed trends in share price indices at the opening hours on Monday (June 13).

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained over 0.94 points or 0.02 percent to stand at 4410.34 points at 12:01pm.

Trade deals stood at 36,690 with transaction at over Tk 1523.54 million. Of the issues traded, 117 advanced, 95 declined and 80 remained unchanged.

The ACME Laboratories Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 179.93 million having changed hands till then.

Other toppers of the market were Lafarge Surma Cement Ltd, Orion Infusion Ltd., Olympic Accessories Limited, Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Bangladesh Building Systems Ltd., Shahjibazar Power Co. Ltd, Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills Limited, GPH Ispat Ltd. and Quasem Drycells.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), however, saw loss in the opening hour, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, lost over 10.01 points to stand at 8253.03 points till 12:06pm.

Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 65 gained, 84 declined and 40 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 94.55 million.
