DHAKA: Investors witnessed fall in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses – Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange- on Wednesday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over 2.14 points and 0.04 percent to stand at 4406.94 at the opening.

Trade deals stood at 35,722 with transaction at Tk 1362.75 million.
    
Of the issues traded, 122 advanced, 100 declined and 66 remained unchanged.

Aman Feed Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 117.82 million having changed hands.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, s CSCX, the prime index, climbing down to 8247.97 by dropping over 1.10 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 71 gained, 55 declined and 41 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 76.84 million.
