DHAKA: Investors witnessed fall in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses – Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange- on Monday (June 20).
The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over 7.71 points and 0.17 percent to stand at 4380.07 at the opening till 11:44 am.
Trade deals stood at 25,632 with transaction at Tk 1091.36 million.
Of the issues traded, 75 advanced, 132 declined and 77 remained unchanged.
The ACME Laboratories Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 109.32 million having changed hands.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, s CSCX, the prime index, climbing down to 8197.59 by dropping over 26.21 points.
Out of the issues traded, 43 gained, 93 declined and 34 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 62.63 million.
