How callous the Westin is!

‘How ridiculous and callous they are!’ an aggravated customer at Hotel Westin in Dhaka was telling. He was buying costly Palestinian Medjoul Dates from the hotel shop and found that the hotel men wrote `Deats’ instead of `Dates’ in the price tag.

Immediately the person, a frequent local visitor of the hotel located at city’s posh area in Gulshan, got a picture by his mobile phone camera and sent it to Banglanews with a hope that it would be published. He was seeking anonymity.

“My name is not important, but it should be published, so that these people become more cautious,” told the man.

“I was along with my little son, studying at Grade-II and he first noticed the mistake in the price tag.”

“What we are going to buy Dad, they are writing Deats here!” the little kid was exclaiming, he told.

Look! This is an international hotel in Dhaka and many foreign guests are coming, how they'll feel seeing such a mistake in price tag? The enraged customer asked.

“In the days of Ramadan the dates are among the common items to buy and Palestinian Medjoul Dates are really the best. They are selling it at Tk 3000 per Box.”

An international hotel must remain cautious on every single aspect, which the Westin lacks here, the person said.

Quickly corrected

Dear Readers, immediately after the report was published, the Westin authority in Dhaka has corrected the wrong spelling in the price tag of the Palestinian Medjoul Dates. Selina Momen, Director (Public Relations) of the international hotel informed Banglanews about their quick measures.
