DHAKA: The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) witnessed loss of share price indices while Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) saw gain on Wednesday (July 13), the fourth trading session of the week.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), lost over 6.62 points or 0.14 percent to stand at 4538.08 points at the end of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 90,486 with transaction at over Tk 3868.69 million. Of the issues traded, 110 advanced, 158 declined and 56 remained unchanged.

Delta Brac Housing Finance Corp. Ltd topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 153.16 million having changed hands till the time.

Other toppers of the market were ACME Laboratories Limited, Shahjibazar Power Co. Ltd, Titas Gas Transmission & Dist. Co. Ltd, Quasem Drycells, Aman Feed, BRAC Bank Ltd, MJL Bangladesh Limited, Lafarge Surma Cement Ltd and Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), however, witnessed inflation, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 8.24 points to stand at 8475.30 points.

Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 103 gained, 105 declined and 35 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 299.28 million.
