DHAKA: United Commercial Bank Limited (UCB) recently signed an agreement with bKash Limited at its corporate office in city.

Under this agreement, UCB will facilitate bKash for their distributor’s collection and payment service through UCB branch network under supervision of Corporate Cash Management & Marketing Division of UCB and transmit real time collection information to bKash through online link, says a press release.

UCB additional managing director M Shahidul Islam and bKash chief financial officer Moinuddin Mohammed Rahgir signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

UCB managing director Muhammed Ali and bKash chief executive officer Kamal Quadir were also present in the signing ceremony.

Among others from UCB additional managing director Mirza Mahmud Rafiqur Rahman, deputy managing directors Md. Tariqul Azam, Mohammed Shawkat Jamil, Md. Sohrab Mustafa and Golam Awlia, Senior Executive Vice President N Mustafa Tarek, Head of Corporate Cash Management & Marketing Division Khandoker Zibanur Rahman, and from bKash Head of Strategy & Business Development Md. Zafrul Hasan, Finance Controller Muhammad Mahfuzur Rahman FCA and Chief External & Corporate Affairs Officer Major General Sheikh Md. Monirul Islam (retd) along with other officials of both organizations were also present in the signing ceremony.
