DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing mixed trends in share price indices at the opening hours on Tuesday (September 6), the third trading session of the week.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 2.44 points or 0.05 percent to stand at 4561.24 points at 1:14pm.

Trade deals stood at 58,937 with transaction at over Tk 2725.07 million. Of the issues traded, 132 advanced, 116 declined and 53 remained unchanged.

The Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 196.99 million having changed hands till then.

Meanwhile, the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) saw positive trend as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gain over 1.70 points to stand at 8537.05 points at 1:10pm.

Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 78 gained, 73 declined and 43 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 113.68 million.
