DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing gain in share price indices in the early hours on Wednesday (September 21).

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained over 15.14 points or 0.32 percent to stand at 4654.28 points at 12:10pm.

Trade deals stood at 57,083 with transaction at over Tk 2640.60 million. Of the issues traded, 157 advanced, 84 declined and 64 remained unchanged.

The ACME Laboratories Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 168.30 million having changed hands till then.

Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, acquired over 8.81 points to stand at 8697.03 points at 12:06pm.

Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 91 gained, 63 declined and 40 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 134.64 million.
