DHAKA: The investigation report of Bangladesh Bank (BB) reserve heist will not be published on Thursday (September 22).

The publication of the report requires more time.

Finance minister AMA Muhith disclosed the matter to journalists on Wednesday (September 21).

He further said: “A case is underway in Philippines over the returning of the money. This is why the report will not be published now.”

“The decision was taken after talking to the law minister and attorney general,” he added.

In early February, hackers robbed $ 81 millions from Bangladesh Bank’s account.

The Philippine Daily Inquirer reported the theft at the end of February.
