DHAKA: The benchmark indices of the country’s two bourses – Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – witnessed gain in on Thursday (September 29), the last trading session of the week.
The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, gained over 4.55 points and 0.09 percent to stand at 4695.18 at the end of the day.
Trade deals stood at 123,879 with transaction at Tk 6816.01 million.
Of the issues traded, 153 advanced, 116 declined and 53 remained unchanged.
DOREENPWR topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 208.992 million having changed hands till then.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of CSE, gained 23.65 points to stand at 8785.
Out of the issues traded, 132 gained, 76 declined and 38 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 324,451,171.
