DHAKA: Beacon Pharmaceuticals Ltd of Bangladesh signed a deal with Turkey’s KareIlac at Bangladesh embassy in Turkey on Monday (October 3) to export medicine in the country.
At the initiatives of the Bangladesh embassy in Ankara, Beacon Pharmaceuticals Ltd, a leading Bangladeshi company specialized in Oncology Medicines of Bangladesh, and KareIlac, a prominent Turkish pharmaceuticals producer and distribution company, singed the deal, said a press release.
Under the contract, the Turkish company agreed to import, distribute and market in Turkey the anti-cancer, biotech and lifesaving drugs of Beacon Pharmaceuticals from Bangladesh.
It is expected that successful implementation of the agreement between the Turkish and Bangladeshi companies would contribute to a large extent in enhancing the Bangladesh pharmaceuticals export volume to Turkey.
The agreement was signed by the senior officials of the two sides in presence of Bangladesh ambassador to Turkey M AllamaSiddiki.
As the outcome of sustained efforts of the embassy, presently, another Turkish company, KocIlac has been importing into Turkey some pharmaceuticals products of Incepta Pharmaceuticals of Bangladesh since 2014.
